“One of my strongest childhood memories paints the image of worn-out linoleum in my grandmother’s kitchen – a triangle trail from the stove to the sink to the refrigerator.”
With a farm for a childhood home, a mom who has never been without a vegetable garden, and a Polish grandma whose cutting board was concave from constant use, it’s no wonder why Adam associates food and cooking with family.
Whether or not his culinary inclination is genetic we will never know but it is very clear that an appreciation for food and a passion for cooking were nurtured by his mother and grandmother. They passed on wisdom and expressed love through well-planned, wholesome meals and like them, it is the experience of sharing his creations that makes Adam’s job so rewarding.
Helm’s nature is strong, creative, dynamic, and his profession allows him to constructively harness that energy in a way that he describes as fulfilling and grounding. He is grateful for a career that he enjoys and can feel good about because it brings such joy to others.
